Man injured after falling from second storey of Gold Coast home

 A man has suffered serious injuries after falling from the second storey of a home on the northern Gold Coast in the early hours of this morning. It happened at a property in Coomera around 2.00am on Monday. The man, aged in his 40s, sustained significant pelvic injuries in the nasty fall and was treated at the scene by critical care paramedics. Fire crews bring massive industrial blaze at Molendinar under control

An emergency declaration following a fire at Molendinar has now been lifted by Police. The declaration was made around 11.45am as a massive blaze took hold inside a scrap metal yard on Manufacturer Drive. The blaze is now under control but fire crews remain on scene. Police have warned that local diversions will remain in place into the evening. The fire is not being treated as suspicious. Two police officers among four injured in nasty rollover on the Gold Coast

 Four people, including at least two police officers, have been taken to hospital after a nasty crash in Mermaid Waters. Two cars, including a police wagon, collided at the intersection of Markeri and Bermuda Streets around 9.30am. The impact of the crash caused the police car to flip and come to a rest on its side next to the traffic lights. Two police officers in the vehicle were trapped for some time and firefighters had to cut the roof off the vehicle to get them out. Two others were also treated by paramedics and all four have been taken to hospital in a stable condition. Woman hospitalised after car ploughs into tree at Cedar Creek

 A woman is recovering in hospital following a nasty crash in Cedar Creek overnight. Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Quinzeh Creek Road and Chardon Bridge Road just after 8.00pm. It’s understood a vehicle lost control before slamming into a tree. A woman fortunately managed to escape serious injury and was treated at the scene by paramedics. Gold Coast chemist targeted in overnight break-in

 A chemist on the Gold Cast has been damaged in an alleged break and enter late last night. Robina Parkway Chempro Chemist was broken into just before 10pm, with police now scouring CCTV to find out exactly what happened. The front door and window were smashed in during the ordeal at the business along Cheltenham Drive, Robina. Thankfully, no staff were working at the time.
