April proves to be a good time for holidaying on the Gold Coast

New figures show April was a busy month for Gold Coast entertainment and accommodation providers.
With the Easter long weekend, and the ANZAC Day holiday, as well as school holidays, economy-wide spending across the country was able to rise by 0.5 percent.
Spending on amusement and entertainment went up 1 percent, and spending on hotels and motels went up 0.9 percent.
