Woolworths and Royal Australian Mint release $2 Wallabies coin

If Discovery Garden isn't quite your thing, Woolies has announced another collectable that you can grab when you next shop.

The supermarket giant has teamed up with The Royal Australian Mint, releasing a limited-edition $2 Wallabies coin.

The coins are available from supermarket registers from today and have been created by The Royal Australian Mint to 'capture the strength and dedication of the team as they embark on their campaign in Japan'.

Former Wallaby Mark Gerrard told 7NEWS.com.au that it's a special time for the game will millions watching around the world.

Gold Coast car dealer fined for second odometer tampering

 A Gold Coast car dealer has been busted for tampering with the odometer of a car that he sold. The Office of Fair Trading took Christos Spiro Tsalapataris to court where he was ordered to pay $5,000 for the offence. Southport court heard that Mr Tsalapataris, who traded as GC Car Wholesale, purchased a 2011 Mitsubishi Triton from a Southport motor dealer in June last year for $6,100.
