Greater Sydney temporary COVID-19 restrictions lifted, Western Sydney airport residents push back on compensation offer

 Caps on household visitors and mandatory masks on public transport have been lifted after the NSW government declined to extend COVID-19 restrictions in Greater Sydney.

The NSW government reintroduced several social distancing rules after a husband and wife in Sydney's eastern suburbs tested positive to the virus on May 5.
