Gold Coast car dealer fined for second odometer tampering

 A Gold Coast car dealer has been busted for tampering with the odometer of a car that he sold.

The Office of Fair Trading took Christos Spiro Tsalapataris to court where he was ordered to pay $5,000 for the offence.

Southport court heard that Mr Tsalapataris, who traded as GC Car Wholesale, purchased a 2011 Mitsubishi Triton from a Southport motor dealer in June last year for $6,100.
