Eurovision Returns to Gold Coast in 2022

 The Palaszczuk Government today revealed that SBS’s glittering television event Eurovision – Australia Decides, hosted by comedian Joel Creasey and music buff Myf Warhurst, will once again broadcast live from the Gold Coast in February 2022.

With the support of the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy and Tourism and Events Queensland, the event will be presented at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 February, to determine which song will represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Italy.

Gold Coast car dealer fined for second odometer tampering

 A Gold Coast car dealer has been busted for tampering with the odometer of a car that he sold. The Office of Fair Trading took Christos Spiro Tsalapataris to court where he was ordered to pay $5,000 for the offence. Southport court heard that Mr Tsalapataris, who traded as GC Car Wholesale, purchased a 2011 Mitsubishi Triton from a Southport motor dealer in June last year for $6,100.
