Petrol prices soar to record high across the Gold Coast

 The cost of living crisis appears to be getting worse, with the price of fuel skyrocketing on the Gold Coast.

Some petrol stations across the city have been spotted selling unleaded for as much as $2.24 a litre.

That’s the highest price motorists have had to pay for fuel ever, surpassing the previous high of $2.21 in March.

The worst news is, we’re being warned to expect even more pain at the pump over the next week, with RACQ admitting we’re only at the start of the price cycle.
