WATCH: School bus catches fire on Gold Coast

 Fire crews have rushed to a church in Reedy Creek this morning after a school bus erupted into flames.

The blaze took hold of the coach in the car park of the Reedy Creek Baptist Church along Gemvale Road around 8.15am on Friday.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesperson told myGC the bus was “well-involved” upon arrival.

Thankfully there were no children on board the vehicle at the time.

Gold Coast car dealer fined for second odometer tampering

 A Gold Coast car dealer has been busted for tampering with the odometer of a car that he sold. The Office of Fair Trading took Christos Spiro Tsalapataris to court where he was ordered to pay $5,000 for the offence. Southport court heard that Mr Tsalapataris, who traded as GC Car Wholesale, purchased a 2011 Mitsubishi Triton from a Southport motor dealer in June last year for $6,100. What will happen with Queensland's border and new vaccination rules in December?
