The allegations follow separate claims of money laundering and organised crime links raised at a NSW inquiry into Star’s Sydney operations. 10 Ways To Protect Your Walls When Moving Furniture

Image
If you are planning to relocate and want to ensure the safety of the walls, you must disassemble your large furniture bed, dining table, bookshelf, etc. Such furniture is difficult to balance, so you might bang them against the walls. There are many more interesting ways to move furniture without causing any damage to the walls. If you want to know all the ways in detail, read the complete article.  https://www.betterremovalistsgoldcoast.com.au/10-ways-to-protect-your-walls-when-moving-furniture/

Scenic Rim agritourism farmers enforce measures to protect against foot-and-mouth disease

Image
Agritourism operators in south-east Queensland's Scenic Rim region are asking tourists to sign waivers — and some to avoid their properties altogether — due to increased vigilance about the threat of foot-and-mouth disease.  Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) affects pigs, cattle, goats and sheep. It was detected in Indonesia in May and spread to Bali earlier this month, prompting fears a tourist could carry the disease into Australia on clothing or footwear. In the worst-case scenario, billions would have to be spent on a national response while scores of painfully diseased cattle, sheep, pigs, and goats could be culled. Gold Coast school jumps onboard electric school bus trial to inspire curious young minds

Image
While the economics of electric buses may make them an increasingly irresistible public transport option, year 4 student Annabelle Nicolson has a different reason for liking her new electrified ride to school. "If the gas from the bus goes into the air, then we, and the plants and the animals, can get sick," she said. Annabelle will be among the first students at Hillcrest Christian College to ride on its new electric bus as part of an upcoming trial. The trial is the only one of its type on the Gold Coast, with the school hoping to transition its fleet over five years.
