HOW DOES DIABETES AFFECT YOUR TEETH?

Image
Hey People, Sometimes you cannot fight with things that are not in your control. My parents are diabetic, so I knew that the hereditary disease was going to affect me in the long run. Anyway, I was 50 when I started losing weight abruptly and went to see a doctor. Now two years later, I have regained my health and kept my sugar levels under control with regular workout in the gym and strict diet control. It has taken a lot of grit and determination to do it, but I have seen my parents struggling with it. Also, they lost their teeth because of it, so I was extra cautious. Here is an article that will help you to understand the relation between dental health and diabetes.  https://www.dentisthopeisland.com.au/how-does-diabetes-affect-your-teeth/

Australia is the last Western holdout on the climate crisis. But some states and businesses are calling for change

Image
Deep in northeast Australia's outback, underneath grassy eucalypt woodlands and vast grazing lands scattered with cattle stations, lies one of the world's largest known untapped coal reserves. Queensland's Galilee Basin, an area roughly the size of Britain, is set to produce its first coal in 2021, to be moved by rail 300 kilometers to the coast, where it will be loaded onto cargo ships that will sail through the Great Barrier Reef to ship it to Asia. The controversial Carmichael mine has become a symbol of the environmental split that has emerged in 21st century Australia.  https://edition.cnn.com/2020/12/27/australia/australia-renewable-energy-climate-intl-dst-hnk/index.html

Image
Two travellers from the United Kingdom to Australia's New South Wales state were found carrying the mutated variant of the virus that Britain has said could be up to 70 per cent more infectious. Both are in hotel quarantine, and the recent spike in infections in Sydney is not linked to this, authorities said. However, Australia's Health Minister Greg Hunt said there are no plans to follow other countries in halting flights from the UK.  https://www.wionews.com/world/after-uk-australia-detects-new-fast-spreading-coronavirus-strain-351398
